Assalamu Alaikum.
Four days in, and you're still here.
Still fasting. Still praying. Still pushing through even when the alarm for Fajr feels like a personal attack.
Bravo...
Day 04
Saturday, February 21, 2026
The weekend is here, but Ramadan doesn't take weekends off.
Neither should your heart.
So, let's make Day 4 count.
Duas You Nees to Read In Ramadan Day 4
In the very morning, start your day with the following dua first.
Ayat al-Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255)
Translation
"Allah! There is no god but He, the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory)."
Significance
Reciting this in the morning creates a spiritual bariar throughout the day and you get protection from all kinds of evil harm.
Morning Dua
Translation
"We have entered a new day and with it all dominion belongs to Allah. Praise is to Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over everything. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good that follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave."
Significance
By Day 4, your Nafs might be whispering, "You've done enough. Take it easy today."
This dua shuts that door. You're asking Allah to protect you from laziness and to grant you the best of today.
Because every day in Ramadan is a gift you don't want to waste.
Ramadan Day 4 Special Dua
Translation
"O Allah, on this day, strengthen me to carry out Your commands, let me taste the sweetness of Your remembrance, grant me the ability to be grateful to You through Your generosity, and protect me with Your protection and covering, O Most Watchful of those who see."
Significance
This is a powerful dua for those moments when worship feels heavy.
You're asking Allah to give you strength—not just physical, but spiritual strength to keep obeying Him.
You're also asking to taste the sweetness of His remembrance. Because when Dhikr becomes sweet, everything else becomes easy. And you're asking for protection—from sin, from slipping, from being exposed.
Allah is Al-Baseer, the All-Seeing, and you're asking Him to guard you with His perfect sight.
What to Read: Starting Juz 2
Today's Goal: Begin Juz 2, starting from Surah Al-Baqarah, around verse 142 onward.
This section talks about the change of the Qibla—when the Muslims were commanded to face the Kaaba instead of Jerusalem.
It's a reminder that sometimes Allah tests our obedience with change. Are you willing to follow, even when it's confusing at first?
When you read the verse, "So wherever you turn, there is the Face of Allah" (2:115), let it sink in.
Allah isn't just in the masjid.
He's with you at work, at home, in your struggles. Turn to Him—He's already facing you.
Your Specific Task: The "Intention Audit"
Today's task is internal, not external.
Your Task: Before every single act of worship today—Salah, Quran, charity, even Suhoor and Iftar—pause for 3 seconds and ask yourself: "Am I doing this for Allah, or for people to see?"
Why?
Because Riya (showing off) is the silent killer of good deeds.
You might be praying, fasting, giving charity—but if even 1% of it is for the approval of others, it's contaminated.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "The thing I fear most for you is minor shirk." When asked what that was, he said, "Showing off."
So today, check yourself.
Purify your intention before you act. Make it for Allah alone. Because a small deed done with sincerity is better than a mountain of deeds done for the 'gram.
The "Golden Hour" (The 15 Minutes Before Iftar)
You know the drill. Put the food aside. Turn off distractions.
Sit with your Lord.
Your Day 4 Dua List:
- Ask Allah to purify your heart from jealousy, pride, and hatred.
- Make dua for your enemies—yes, your enemies. The Prophet ﷺ made dua for the people who threw stones at him. If he can do that, so can you.
- Ask Allah to make your death easy and your grave a garden from the gardens of Jannah.
- Pray for strength to complete this Ramadan with excellence, not just survival.
And if you have a specific hardship—debt, illness, loneliness, confusion about your future—tell Allah about it.
He already knows, but He loves to hear it from you.
A Little Brotherly/Sisterly Advice for Day 4
Here's something nobody tells you: Ramadan doesn't always feel magical.
Some days you wake up spiritually dry. Your Salah feels robotic.
Your Quran recitation feels rushed. Your dua feels empty.
And that's okay.
The beauty of Islam isn't that you only worship when you feel like it.
The beauty is that you worship even when you don't. You pray Fajr even when your heart feels cold. You read Quran even when your mind is distracted. You make dua even when you're not sure it'll be answered.
That's real Iman.
That's real consistency.
That's what separates those who finish Ramadan strong from those who burn out by Week 2.
So if today feels hard, know that your struggle is seen.
Allah doesn't judge you by how excited you feel—He judges you by whether you showed up. And you did. So keep going.

Btw, Did you check your intention before reading this? Go back and renew it.
This is for Allah. Let's keep it that way.
See you tomorrow for Day 5, where we'll talk about controlling your gaze and protecting your energy.
You're doing better than you think. Trust the process. 🤍
