Assalamu Alaikum. Alhamdulillah, you made it through Day 1!
The first fast is always the hardest—your body was confused, your throat was dry, and you probably wondered at least once, "Can I really do this 29 more times?"
But here you are. Still standing.
Still committed.
And that alone is worth celebrating.
Today is the day you prove to yourself that yesterday wasn't just beginner's luck.
This is where the real Ramadan spirit kicks in—not in excitement, but in consistency.
Let's make Day 2 count.
PS: Before we dive in, here are the Iftar time and the time when Suhur ends:

Ramadan Day 2 Dua List
Here are the special duas and adhkar for the second day of Ramadan Karim.
Read these In the morning, after fajr.

Translation
Translation:
"We have entered a new day and with it all dominion belongs to Allah. Praise is to Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over everything. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good that follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave."
Significance
This dua is your spiritual armor.
You're asking Allah for the best of today and protection from its harms.
The mention of laziness is critical during Ramadanโwhen your energy is low, Shaytan whispers, "Just skip it, you're too tired."
This dua helps you fight that whisper.

Translation
Translation:
"O Allah, on this day, bring me closer to Your pleasure, distance me from Your anger and punishment, and grant me the ability to recite Your verses, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful."
Significance
On Day 2, the excitement might fade a little. Your body is still adjusting.
This dua reminds you why you're really hereโnot just to avoid food and water, but to draw closer to Allah.
You're asking Him to help you focus on the Quran and avoid anything that earns His displeasure.
It's a dua of sincerity and intention.
What to Read: Deepening the Connection
Today's Goal: Continue with Juz 1, focusing on the middle section of Surah Al-Baqarah.
These verses talk about the early Muslims, the hypocrites, and the People of the Book.
As you read, notice how Allah describes those who truly believe versus those who just pretend.
Ask yourself: which group do I want to belong to?
When you come across the verse about prayer and patience (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:153), pause.
That's your theme for today.
Prayer and patience.
Everything you need to survive Ramadan is in those two words.
02 Your Specific Task: The "Gratitude Reset"
Yesterday, you controlled your tongue.
Today, we're flipping the script.
Your Task: Every time you feel thirsty, tired, or tempted to complain, say "Alhamdulillah" out loud or in your heart.
Not the robotic kind. The real kind. The kind where you actually mean it.
Why?
Because when you're fasting, it's easy to focus on what you don't have.
But if you pause and thank Allah for what you do have—your health, your family, the fact that you even get to fast—everything shifts.
Try it.
I promise you'll feel lighter.
03 The "Golden Hour" (The 15 Minutes Before Iftar)
Once again, this is your VIP moment with Allah.
Don't waste it scrolling or setting the table.
Your Day 2 Dua List:
- Ask Allah to make the Quran easy for you to understand and apply.
- Pray for your parents, whether they're alive or passed away.
- Make dua for someone you've wronged or someone who wronged you—forgiveness is the fastest way to a clean heart.
- Ask Allah to protect you from showing off in your worship. Sincerity is hard, but it's everything.
A Little Brotherly/Sisterly Advice for Day 2
Here's the truth: Day 2 is when most people start to slip.
The hype is gone. The body is sore.
The routine feels heavy.
But here's the secret—Ramadan isn't built on hype.
It's built on habit.
On showing up even when you don't feel like it. On praying Fajr even though your bed is calling you.
On reading Quran even though Netflix sounds easier.
The people who finish strong aren't the ones who started excited.
They're the ones who stayed consistent.
So today, don't aim for perfect.
Just aim for present. Be here. Be intentional.
Let every sip of water at Iftar remind you that Allah provides, every time, without fail.

Did you make your morning dua yet? Go back and do it now. I'll be here when you're done.
See you tomorrow for Day 3, where we'll talk about the power of small, consistent deeds.
You're doing better than you think.
Keep going. ๐ค
