Assalamu Alaikum.

You've officially completed the first chunk of Ramadan, and you're still fasting. Still praying.

Still pushing forward even when it's hard. That's not just discipline—that's tawfiq.

Alhamdulillah for making it this far.

1) Read These In The Morning: After Fajr

01

Ayat al-Kursi

Translation

Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all.
Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?
He knows what is before them and what is behind them,
and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills.
His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth,
and their preservation does not tire Him.
And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Ramadan Day 7 Morning Dua

Translation

We have entered a new day and with it all dominion belongs to Allah. Praise is to Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over everything. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good that follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and the evil of old age. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.

Significance

Seven days in, you might be feeling the weight of routine. The excitement has settled, and now it's about endurance. This dua keeps you grounded. You're asking Allah to give you the best of today and protect you from its harm. You're asking Him to save you from laziness—because laziness is the enemy of progress. Say it with intention. Mean every word.

03

Ramadan Day 7 Special Dua

Translation

O Allah, on this day, help me with its fasting and standing in prayer, keep me away from its mistakes and sins, and grant me the ability to remember You constantly through it, by Your guidance, O Guide of those who stray.

Significance

This is a dua of total dependence on Allah. You're not saying, "I got this." You're saying, "Ya Allah, I need You." You're asking Him to help you fast properly, to pray with sincerity, to avoid sins, and to keep your tongue and heart busy with His remembrance. The phrase "O Guide of those who stray" is powerful—it's a reminder that without Allah's guidance, we're all lost. So ask Him. Constantly. Never stop asking.

What to Read: Continuing Through Juz 2

Today's Goal: Continue reading Juz 2, focusing on the section about divorce, waiting periods, and family law (around Surah Al-Baqarah 2:226-242).

These verses might seem technical, but they reveal something profound: Allah cares about the details of your life.

He cares about your relationships, your struggles, your rights, your dignity.

Nothing is too small for His attention.

So when you read the verse, "And divorced women shall wait for three monthly periods" (2:228), notice how Allah sets boundaries to protect people from harm.

Every ruling in Islam has wisdom, even if we don't always see it immediately. Trust the process. Trust the Creator.

2) Your Specific Task

You've completed one week of Ramadan. Today's task is about pausing and reflecting.

Your Task: Write down 7 things you're grateful for from this first week of Ramadan.

It could be:

Why?

Because gratitude is the foundation of contentment.

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever does not thank people has not thanked Allah." And if you can't thank Allah for the small blessings, how will you recognize the big ones?

Write them down. Keep the list. Look at it when you're struggling.

It'll remind you that Allah has been with you every step of the way.

3) The "Golden Hour" (The 15 Minutes Before Iftar)

You know the drill. This is your VIP moment. Don't waste it.

Your Ramadan Day 7 Dua List:

And make a personal dua.

Something specific. Something deep. Allah is listening, and He loves when you pour your heart out to Him.

A Little Brotherly/Sisterly Advice for Day 7

Week 1 runs on excitement. Week 2 runs on discipline.

The newness has worn off. The routine is settling in. And this is where most people start to slip. They wake up a little later. They skip a page of Quran here and there. They get distracted during Taraweeh. They stop making dua with the same intensity.

Don't be that person.

Week 2 is where champions are made. Because anyone can start strong. But only the committed finish strong.

So here's what you do: recommit. Right now. Make a fresh intention.

Tell yourself, "The next three weeks are going to be even better than the first." And then act like it.

Wake up earlier. Read more Quran. Make longer duas.

Give more charity. Be kinder. Be more patient. Be more present.

Because here's the secret: Ramadan doesn't get easier.

But you get stronger.

And by the time you reach Day 30, you won't even recognize the person you were on Day 1.

That's the transformation Ramadan offers. But only if you keep pushing.

You can see guide for Day 6 of Ramadan from here that we previously wrote.

Did you write your gratitude list yet? Go do it now. Don't skip this. It matters.

See you tomorrow for Day 8, where we'll talk about the power of Istighfar and seeking forgiveness constantly.
