This is it.

Day 21.

The first night of the last ten. The night that could change your entire destiny.

Everything you've done in the first twenty days was preparation for this moment.

The mercy you received. The forgiveness you sought. It all led you here—to the most powerful nights of the year.

Don't waste them. Give these ten nights everything you've got.

01) Here is the Dua and Adhkar For the Last Ten Days

01

Morning Dua for Laylatul Qadr

Translation

O Allah, You are the Oft-Pardoning, Most Generous, You love to pardon, so pardon me.

Significance

Start saying this dua TODAY and don't stop until Ramadan ends.
This is the dua the Prophet ๏ทบ specifically taught Aisha (ุฑุถูŠ ุงู„ู„ู‡ ุนู†ู‡ุง) for Laylatul Qadr (Tirmidhi). Say it in every Salah.
Say it before Iftar. Say it during Tahajjud. Say it while making wudu. Say it until it's embedded in your soul. Because one of these ten nights is Laylatul Qadr, and this dua could be the key to your entire future.
Allah is Al-'Afuwwโ€”He doesn't just forgive, He erases the sin as if it never happened. Ask Him. Over and over and over.

Translation

O Allah, I ask You for all goodโ€”immediate and delayed, what I know of it and what I don't know. And I seek refuge in You from all evilโ€”immediate and delayed, what I know of it and what I don't know.

Significance

This dua (from Sahih Muslim) covers everything.
You're asking for all types of goodโ€”in this world and the next, things you're aware of and things you can't even imagine.
And you're seeking protection from all types of harmโ€”seen and unseen, known and unknown. As you enter the most critical ten days of the year, you need this complete coverage. Say it every morning and let it shield you spiritually.

Translation

O Allah, on this day, make for me a guide to Your pleasure, do not give Shaytan any way over me, and make Paradise my home and resting place, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

Significance

This dua is asking for three essential things for the last ten nights.
First, guidance to what pleases Allahโ€”because in these intense nights, you need clarity about what to do and how to worship.
Second, complete protection from Shaytan's influenceโ€”because even though he's chained, your nafs (ego) can still lead you astray through laziness, distraction, or doubt.
Third, you're asking for Jannah to be your final destination and resting place. This is ultimate success. You're not asking for Dunya.
You're asking for eternity. That's the level of ambition you need in these nights.

What to Read: Deep Into Juz 7

Continue reading Juz 7, focusing on Surah Al-An'am, particularly the verses about Tawheed, the reality of the Hereafter, and the signs of Allah in creation.

Surah Al-An'am is one of the most powerful Makkan surahs.

It was revealed all at once, and it focuses intensely on the Oneness of Allah and the foolishness of worshiping anything besides Him.

When you read the verse, "Indeed, prayer, sacrifice, life, and death are all for Allah, Lord of all the worlds" (6:162), stop!

This verse is declaring total surrender.

Everything you do—your worship, your sacrifices, your entire existence—should be for Allah alone.

Ask yourself: is my life truly dedicated to Him? Or am I still chasing other things—status, approval, comfort?

02) Your Specific Task: The "I'tikaf Mindset" (Even at Home)

The Prophet ๏ทบ used to perform I'tikaf in the last ten days, secluding himself in the masjid to focus entirely on worship.

Even if you can't physically do I'tikaf in the masjid, create an "I'tikaf mindset" at home.

How:

  1. Eliminate All Unnecessary Distractions:

    • Delete social media apps (yes, actually delete them—not just "take a break")
    • Turn off all non-essential notifications
    • Tell people you're not available for casual conversations for the next ten days
    • No TV, no Netflix, no YouTube (unless it's Islamic content)
  2. Create a Sacred Space:

    • Designate one corner of your home as your "worship zone"
    • Keep your Quran, prayer mat, and dua list there
    • Make it distraction-free—no phone, no screens
  3. Set Your Schedule:

    • Sleep right after Taraweeh (around 9-10 PM)
    • Wake up for Tahajjud (around 2-3 AM)
    • Pray, read Quran, make dua until Fajr
    • Rest briefly after Fajr if needed
    • Continue your day with minimal worldly engagement

Why?

Because, the Prophet ๏ทบ said, "When the last ten nights entered, he would tighten his waist belt, spend the night in worship, and wake his family" (Sahih al-Bukhari).

"Tighten his waist belt" means he prepared for an all-out spiritual battle.

He cut off everything that didn't matter and focused 100% on worship.

That's the energy you need.

Not casual participation. Total commitment.

03) The "Golden Hour" (15 Minutes Before Iftar)

This is no longer just a daily practice—this is your spiritual lifeline for the next ten days.

Your Day 21 Dua List:

And then make the most personal, heartfelt dua you've ever made.

The thing you've been too scared to ask for.

The dream you've buried.

The pain you've been carrying. Bring it all to Allah tonight. He's waiting.

A Little Brotherly/Sisterly Advice for Day 21

The next ten nights will separate the serious from the casual.

Most people will pray Taraweeh and call it a night.

They'll say, "I'm tired. I'll try harder tomorrow."

But tomorrow becomes the next day, and the next day, and before they know it, Ramadan is over.

Don't be that person.

You've heard the hadith about Laylatul Qadr being better than a thousand months, right? Let's do the math.

1,000 months = 83.3 years.

If you catch Laylatul Qadr and worship sincerely on that night, it's like you worshiped for 83 YEARS straight. Without stopping.

Without missing a day.

One night = a lifetime of worship.

Would you stay up for that? Would you sacrifice sleep for that?

Would you push through exhaustion for that?

Of course you would.

But here's the thing—you don't know which night it is. It could be tonight. It could be the 23rd. It could be the 27th. It could be the 29th.

So you have to treat EVERY night like it's Laylatul Qadr.

That means:

Not just on the odd nights. Not just when you "feel" like it. Every. Single. Night.

Is it hard? Yes.

Will you be tired? Absolutely.

Will your body resist? 100%.

But here's what I want you to remember: ten days of discomfort for a lifetime of Paradise.

That's the trade.

Ten nights of staying up late, praying when you're tired, reading when your eyes are heavy, making dua when your voice is shaking—in exchange for eternal success.

That's not just a good deal. That's the deal of a lifetime.

So starting tonight, make a commitment. Tell yourself:

"For the next ten nights, I'm going all in. No excuses. No laziness. No distractions. Just me and Allah. And I'm not stopping until Ramadan is over."

Because when you're standing in front of Allah on Judgment Day and you see the reward for these ten nights, you'll wish you could come back and do it again.

But you can't.

You only get one chance. One Ramadan. One set of last ten nights.

This is it.

Make it count.

Note: If you want, you can check out the day 20 where we discussed on a different things.

See you tomorrow for Day 22, where we'll talk about the power of Quran in these blessed nights and how to make every verse count.

Don't waste a single one.
