Assalamu Alaikum.
Seventeen days in, and you're now closer to the end than the beginning.
The last ten nights—the most powerful nights of the year—are just a few days away.
This is not the time to slow down. This is the time to accelerate.
Because the closer you get to the finish line, the harder Shaytan will try to trip you up when he returns.
Day 17
Friday, March 06, 2026
And it's Jummah again.
The blessed day of the week in the blessed month of the year. If you can't show up spiritually today, when will you?
01 Read These In The Morning: After Fajr
Morning Dua for Barakah in Time

Translation
O Allah, bless me in my day, bless me in my life, and bless me in my deeds.
Significance
This simple but powerful dua is asking for Barakahโthat divine blessing that makes a little go a long way.
Barakah in your day means 24 hours that feel like 48. Barakah in your life means years that accomplish what others do in decades. Barakah in your deeds means small actions that carry enormous reward.
In a world obsessed with productivity hacks and time management, the real secret is simpler: ask Allah for Barakah. Without it, you can work 16-hour days and accomplish nothing.
With it, 20 minutes can change your life.

Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire, the punishment of the Fire, the trial of the grave, the punishment of the grave, the evil of the trial of wealth, the evil of the trial of poverty, and the evil of the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal).
Significance
This comprehensive dua (from Sahih al-Bukhari) was taught by the Prophet ๏ทบ and covers all the major trials a believer might faceโboth in this life and the next.
Wealth can be a trial (it can make you arrogant or distracted). Poverty can be a trial (it can make you desperate or resentful). The grave will be a trial (questioning by the angels).
The Fire is a trial and a punishment. And the greatest trial before the Day of Judgment will be the Dajjal. You're asking Allah to protect you from all of it.
Say this after every Fajr and feel the shield of protection wrap around you.

Translation
O Allah, on this day, guide me to righteous deeds, fulfill my needs and hopes, O You who does not need explanation or questioning, O You who knows what is in the hearts of all the worlds, send blessings upon Muhammad and his pure family.
Significance
This dua is asking for two things that every believer needs: guidance to good deeds and fulfillment of needs. But notice the beautiful names you're calling Allah byโHe doesn't need you to explain what you need because He already knows.
He knows what's in your heart before you even say it.
Yet He still wants you to ask. Why? Because the act of asking builds your relationship with Him. It humbles you.
It acknowledges your dependence.
So ask Himโnot because He needs to hear it, but because you need to say it.
What to Read: Moving Into Juz 6
Begin Juz 6, continuing through Surah An-Nisa and moving toward Surah Al-Ma'idah.
This section continues the themes of justice, social responsibility, and moral accountability.
But it also contains verses about seeking knowledge, maintaining family ties, and upholding truth even when it's difficult.
When you reach the verse, "O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives" (4:135), pause!
This is one of the most challenging commands in the Quran.
Justice—even when it hurts you. Even when it's against your own family. Even when it costs you.
That's the level of integrity Islam demands.
Tip: Ask yourself: what is the one small habit you are building toward leaving Ramadan better than you entered it?
02 Your Specific Task: The "Consistency Tracker"
Create a simple "Ramadan Consistency Tracker" for the remaining days.
Track these five daily actions:
- โ Prayed all five Salah on time
- โ Read at least 4 pages of Quran
- โ Made sincere dua before Iftar
- โ Gave any amount of charity (even $1)
- โ Controlled my tongue (no backbiting, complaining, or lying)
Why?
The Prophet ๏ทบ said,
"The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small." (Sahih al-Bukhari)
You don't need to do something extraordinary. You just need to do something consistently.
One page of Quran every day for a year = the entire Quran read 12 times.
One dollar of charity every day for a year = $365 in good deeds.
One sincere dua every day for a year = 365 guaranteed moments of answered supplication.
Small actions, done daily, build mountains of reward.
So track your consistency for the remaining 13 days of Ramadan.
At the end, count how many checkmarks you got.
The goal?
As many as possible. But even if you miss a day, don't quit. Just start again.
03 The "Golden Hour" (The 15 Minutes Before Iftar)
It's Jummah, and this is your VIP access to Allah's mercy.
Don't waste it.
Your Day 17 Dua List:
- Ask Allah to grant you the ability to be consistent in your worship—not just in Ramadan, but for the rest of your life.
- Pray for strength to maintain the good habits you've built over the past 17 days, even after Ramadan ends.
- Ask Allah to make the last 13 days of Ramadan your best yet—spiritually, emotionally, and in every way.
- Make dua for the entire Ummah—for those fasting, those struggling, those oppressed, and those who have lost their way.
And make a personal dua.
Something deep. Something specific. Allah is waiting to hear from you.
A Little Brotherly/Sisterly Advice for Day 17
Motivation gets you started.
But commitment keeps you going when motivation runs out.
On Day 1, you were motivated. The energy was high. The excitement was real. You wanted to pray, read Quran, make dua.
But now?
The excitement has faded. The routine feels heavy. The tiredness has set in.
And this is where most people quit.
They wait to "feel motivated" again. They tell themselves, "I'll start fresh tomorrow." But tomorrow never comes.
Here's the secret the successful people know: you don't wait for motivation. You act, and motivation follows.
You pray even when you don't feel like it—and halfway through, your heart softens.
You read Quran even when you're tired—and suddenly, a verse speaks directly to your soul.
You make dua even when you feel disconnected—and by the end, tears are flowing.
Action creates emotion. Not the other way around.
The Prophet ๏ทบ understood this. That's why he said,
"The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small."
He didn't say "the most beloved deeds are the ones you do when you're motivated."
He said consistent.
So stop waiting to feel ready. Stop waiting to feel inspired.
Just show up. Every single day. Even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard.
Note: If you want, you can check out the day 16 where we discussed on a different things.
See you tomorrow for Day 18, where we'll talk about the power of night prayers and preparing for the last ten nights.
You're in the final stretch now. Keep going...
