It's Monday—a day the Prophet ๏ทบ loved to fast on because deeds are presented to Allah.

Imagine your fasting today being shown directly to Him.

Make it beautiful. Make it sincere. Make it count.

Morning Dua for Complete Reliance on Allah

Translation

Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but Him. Upon Him I rely, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne. (Say it seven times)

Significance

This powerful dua (from Abu Dawud) is a declaration of complete trust in Allah.
The Prophet ๏ทบ said that whoever says this seven times in the morning and seven times in the evening, Allah will take care of all their worriesโ€”both worldly and spiritual.
You're telling yourself and the universe: "I don't need anyone else. I don't rely on my strength, my plans, or my resources. I rely on Allah alone." When you truly internalize this, anxiety melts away. Stress loses its grip.
You become unshakeable because your trust is in the One who controls everything.

Dua for Good Character

Translation

O Allah, guide me to the best of character, for no one can guide to the best of it except You. And turn away from me the worst of character, for no one can turn it away except You.

Significance

This dua (from Sahih Muslim) is from the Prophet's opening supplication in prayer, but it's perfect for your morning routine.
You're asking Allah to give you good characterโ€”patience, kindness, humility, honestyโ€”and to protect you from bad characterโ€”arrogance, anger, jealousy, harshness.
Character is everything. The Prophet ๏ทบ said, "The best among you are those with the best character." If you want to be among the best, you need to constantly ask Allah to shape your character.
You can't do it alone.

Ramadan Day 13 Special Dua

Translation

O Allah, on this day, purify me from filth and impurities, grant me patience with whatever destiny brings, and grant me success in attaining consciousness of You and the company of the righteous, by Your help, O Delight of the eyes of the poor.

Significance

This is a dua of triple purification and elevation.
First, you're asking Allah to cleanse youโ€”not just physically, but spiritually. From the filth of sin, the pollution of bad thoughts, the stains of past mistakes. Second, you're asking for patience with qadarโ€”the divine decree.
Because not everything that happens will make sense. Not everything will feel fair. But you need Sabr to accept Allah's wisdom. Third, you're asking for Taqwa (God-consciousness) and righteous companionship. Because the company you keep shapes who you become.
Surround yourself with people who remind you of Allah, and you'll naturally rise.

What to Read: Continuing Through Juz 4

Today's Goal: Continue reading Juz 4, focusing on Surah Aal-e-Imran, particularly the verses about gratitude, patience, and the consequences of disobedience.

These verses are a mix of encouragement and warning.

Allah reminds the believers of His blessings, urges them to be grateful, and warns them about the consequences of turning away.

It's a perfect reflection for Day 13—gratitude keeps you connected to Allah, while ingratitude pushes you away.

So when you read the verse, "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe" (Ibrahim 14:7, but the theme echoes throughout Aal-e-Imran), pause and think: how often do you actually thank Allah? For your health? Your family? Your food? Your ability to fast?

Gratitude isn't just a feeling—it's an action.

Say "Alhamdulillah" out loud. Write down your blessings.

Make thanking Allah a daily habit.

02) Your Specific Task: The "100 Alhamdulillah Challenge"

Today's task is simple but transformative.

Say "Alhamdulillah" (ุงู„ู’ุญูŽู…ู’ุฏู ู„ูู„ูŽู‘ู‡ู) at least 100 times throughout the day.

You can say it:

Why?

The Prophet ๏ทบ said, "Alhamdulillah fills the scale" (Sahih Muslim). Meaning this simple phrase carries immense weight on the Day of Judgment.

He also said, "Saying Alhamdulillah is better for me than the world and everything in it."

Think about that.

Two words. Better than all the wealth, all the possessions, all the luxuries of this entire world.

And here's the miracle: the more you thank Allah, the more He gives you.

Gratitude is the key that unlocks more blessings. Complaining closes the door.

Choose wisely.

Tip: Start thinking now about how to make Ramadan a permanent transformation rather than a temporary change in your schedule.

03) The "Golden Hour" (The 15 Minutes Before Iftar)

This is your daily meeting with the Most Generous, the Most Giving. Come with gratitude and watch what He gives you.

Your Ramadan Day 13 Dua List:

And make a personal dua.

Something deep. Something specific. Allah loves when you ask Him for everything, even the small things.

A Little Brotherly/Sisterly Advice for Day 13

Feeling depressed? Gratitude lifts you.

Feeling anxious? Gratitude calms you.

Feeling ungrateful? Gratitude grounds you.

Feeling distant from Allah? Gratitude brings you back.

The scholars say that gratitude has three levels:

Level 1: Gratitude of the Tongue

You say "Alhamdulillah" when something good happens. This is the easiest and most common form.

Level 2: Gratitude of the Heart

You feel thankful deep inside.

Not just words, but genuine appreciation. You recognize that every blessing is from Allah, and you love Him for it.

Level 3: Gratitude of the Limbs

You act on your gratitude.

You use the blessings Allah gave you to obey Him. If He gave you wealth, you give charity. If He gave you knowledge, you teach. If He gave you health, you worship.

This is the highest form of gratitude.

Most people never get past Level 1. They say the words, but their heart and actions don't follow.

But you? You're different.

You're reading this because you want to grow. So challenge yourself today. Don't just say "Alhamdulillah" mechanically.

Feel it. Mean it. And then act on it.

And watch how Allah floods your life with blessings you never even asked for.

If you want, you can check out the day 12 where we discussed on a different things.

BTW, See you tomorrow for Day 14, where we'll talk about the power of sincerity and purifying your intentions.
