Manzil Dua is a compiled collection of Qur’anic verses recited for protection, healing, and spiritual safety.

Although the term “Manzil” itself is not mentioned in the Qur’an or Hadith, every verse included in Manzil Dua comes directly from the Qur’an, and its use is based on the Islamic concept of ruqyah.

The benefits below are derived from authentic Qur’anic evidence and Sahih Hadith.

1) Protection from Evil, Shayṭān, and Harm

Manzil Dua includes Ayatul Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255), which is explicitly linked to protection.

Qur’an (2:255):

The Prophet ﷺ said that whoever recites Ayatul Kursi at night will be protected until morning.

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari (2311)

This verse alone establishes Manzil Dua as a shield against Shayṭān.

2) Protection from Black Magic and Jinn

Manzil Dua contains verses from Surah Al-Baqarah, which the Prophet ﷺ clearly linked to expelling Shayṭān.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Shayṭān flees from a house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.”

Reference: Sahih Muslim (780)

Because Manzil Dua consists largely of verses from Al-Baqarah and other protection-focused surahs, it is widely used as ruqyah.

3) Cure and Spiritual Healing (Ruqyah)

The Qur’an itself declares that it is a source of healing.

Qur’an (17:82):

“And We send down of the Qur’an that which is a healing and mercy for the believers.”

Manzil Dua is recited with this intention: healing from spiritual and unseen harm.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“There is no harm in ruqyah as long as it does not involve shirk.”

Reference: Sahih Muslim (2200)

4) Protection During Day and Night

Manzil Dua is commonly recited morning and evening because it includes verses used by the Prophet ﷺ for daily protection, such as the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah.

Qur’an (2:285–286):

The Prophet ﷺ said these verses are sufficient for protection at night.

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari (5009), Sahih Muslim (808)

5) Strengthening Tawḥīd and Reliance on Allah

Manzil Dua repeatedly affirms:

This strengthens tawakkul (reliance on Allah) and removes fear of creation.

Remember, Manzil Dua is not a separate revelation, nor is it obligatory.

Its benefit comes from the Qur’anic verses and correct intention.

Its effectiveness depends on sincerity, consistency, and most importantly, trust in Allah alone.
